IES provides photovoltaic net-metering and battery back-up solutions for both residential and commercial clients. Incorporated in 2009, IES has installed 620 + residential, commercial and agricultural solar arrays under the micro fit, fit and net-metering programs in Ontario. During that time, IES has installed systems across Ontario within many municipal jurisdiction, local electrical distribution companies, varying environmental commissions and local building departments. IES has successfully navigated all of our projects to completion despite these challenging bureaucracies.  

To accommodate design and building projects, our team consists of structural engineers, electrical engineers, design and procurement management, installation teams, and consulting. IES the ability to handle small residential systems up to large commercial scale systems.

Residential and Commercial Solar Projects

In 2009 the IES team designed and built the Niagara NetZero project. The most energy efficient home in all of Southern Ontario. We were the first micro fit solar system installed in the Niagara region and from that project, the team hasn’t looked back. We have installed and currently manage over 600 residential, agricultural systems and 20 large scale commercial systems ranging from 50kW up to 2mW.
